Pregnancy visit schedule for shared maternity care

This is the recommended minimum pregnancy visit schedule for shared pregnancy care. Additional appointments with your private midwife are always available if required. If deemed necessary, Emily will consult with your booked hospital and additional visits can also be arranged with your booking hospital if an issue comes up and you require review by an obstetrician.

All private midwife appointments will take place in your home. If there are any issues with this please contact me to discuss.

8-10 weeks - Private Midwife - Booking in appointment with your private midwife and general pregnancy care planning

10-12 weeks - Hospital - Hospital booking in appointment with hospital midwife - in person visit

12-16 weeks - Hospital - Hospital doctor review appointment with doctor/obstetrician - in person or telehealth

16-18 weeks - Private Midwife -

22 weeks - Private Midwife -

28 weeks - Hospital - Hospital review appointment with doctor/obstetrician

31 weeks - Private Midwife -

34 weeks - Private Midwife -

36 weeks - Hospital - Hospital review appointment with doctor/obstetrician

38 weeks - Private Midwife

40 weeks - Private Midwife

41 weeks - Hospital - Hospital review appointment with doctor/obstetrician, generally to discuss post-dates planning
